I’m sure I’m not alone in starting the new year with goals.
Some of mine are purely to help me in what seems to be my never-ending goal of being organised. Basic things like getting food out of the freezer either the night before or in the morning, so I don’t have to waste energy defrosting it in the microwave. Or putting the dishwasher on in the evening and emptying it first thing in the morning, so it can be filled over the next couple of days, rather than cluttering up the sink.
My hope for 2024 is that I try not to worry so much, and to be a little “braver”.
I’ve started by making my 1st YouTube video available for all to watch
I was going to only share the link with those who purchased a decal from me, but as I also want to use my channel to help boost my Etsy stores, keeping videos hidden isn’t going to achieve that.
Today I’ve also gone into my channel settings and customised it by adding a banner, created and uploaded a watermark that will automatically appear on my videos reminding people to subscribe, filled in the description, and added links to my Etsy stores.
Of course, they were the easy tasks, now I need to get on and film more content.
I did wonder if I should have 2 separate channels, but decided not to, as that would just make me worry about needing to make even more videos.
I’ve decided the same for my Instagram too. I’ve recently changed the name of my Stickers by P and B store to Printz and Cutz, as felt this reflects more of what I sell.
I’ve created a new banner, using the same colours as my main Penguin and the Bee store, so they are “linked” together, and I have enough trouble remembering to post to one Instagram feed.
