If at first you don’t succeed…….

Give up and hide under the duvet!

No, that’s not right, but it’s how I feel most of the time.
This week I finally got around to posting my 2nd YouTube video, it is similar to my 1st as it’s demoing applying a decal, but this time onto a painted boxed canvas.

I recorded the video several weeks ago but I needed to add a voiceover, and the one I did for my 1st video the sound quality is not good at all, (I may go back and redo it at some point), so I wanted to make sure this one was better – which is it but I feel it’s missing one very important thing – Personality!

The moment I hit record I am so worried about pronouncing everything clearly and not messing things up, I get very tense and nervous. I really need to just relax and “go with the flow”.

I could just give up and hide under that magical duvet where all your problems disappear, but I am going to persevere – even if I do only have 3 subscribers at the moment; we all have to start somewhere.

I’ve taken the time and effort to create myself a dedicated area to record my videos, and I’ve verified my YouTube account giving me access to the advanced features for my channel, so I really have no excuse.

My next video is all planned and I’ve made the samples for it so, will get that done over the next few days – hopefully 😂🤣😂

And I’ve ideas for so many more, on a variety of topics; some which link into items I will be adding to Etsy, others including craft projects for people to make themselves, and some software demo’s for Silhouette Studio and similar.

But, if I keep hiding behind the mindset that I should only do something if I can do it 100% perfectly, I’m never going to achieve my goals, and will only have myself to blame
