So, did I achieve everything I wanted to in 2024?
The answer is no, but I think I’ve done okay.
It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog post.
I don’t think I’ve gotten back into a routine since completing my Digital Marketing course, and I’ve found myself in a bit of a slump, and my fatigue also hits harder in the winter – plus I’ve had a couple of appointments at the hospital recently, which always tires me out.
However, I’ve still been working on things in the background.
My main goal for 2025 is to go bigger, as in making larger items; both items I sew and the decals I sell. I’ve stuck to smaller items in the past because I can’t get to the post office easily, but it seems the Royal Mail’s “collect from home” service has improved, with no missed collections recently.
It’s also been a long time since I recorded any YouTube videos; I still only have the two.
However, I have new ideas related to the decals I’ve designed, and I now have all the supplies needed to move forward with those projects.
Confidence in myself, and what I make, is still my biggest barrier – even though I’ve not received any bad feedback or reviews.
I recently put out a call to some of my friends to ask if they would like to be “testers” for me when I make new items, plus some that I’ve made but never listed. So I’ve put together a questionnaire using Google Forms, so I can have details on the colours they like, do they have pets, and similar – I’d like them to want to use what I send them.
And I’ll do another form for feedback.
One thing I need to do is set myself some monthly goals/targets
I was initially going to do weekly ones, but I know I’d only stress about them and tire myself out too much.
So, the 1st goal for 2025 is to organise all my plans and thoughts, of which there are many.
And hopefully, I’ll have a productive, and profitable, year.
